The City of Jackson has experienced a rapid growth rate over the last few years and much anticipated growth in the near future. Jackson is a beautiful town and a wonderful place to live and work. Jackson is a community where you are proud to raise your family and we are certainly proud to be part of it.

There are numerous community programs and services that the men and women of the Jackson Police Department work hard to provide for its citizens. Our number one priority is the maintenance of quality of life and to maximize the safety of our streets and neighborhoods. The department has a full time staff of 32 commissioned officers and 1 non commissioned member.

We are privileged to receive support from the city's government and citizens. We have become a progressive department, always striving for professionalism, while still maintaining the small-town personalized service.
