I would like to personally welcome you to the Jackson Fire Rescue website. It is my hope that our website can sufficiently provide you with information regarding our services provided and personnel, as well as, future job openings and department events.

The Jackson Fire Department was formally established in 1911 and has transformed from a volunteer department to the professional group of combination career and part-time firefighters it is today. Our Department takes pride in its ability to serve the needs of the community each day as our citizens call upon our professionalism. Today, however, our crews respond to much more than that of our 1911 members. These calls have a wide variety including medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous material incidents and structure fires to name a few.

Our personnel also focus a large amount of time each year providing the public with child safety seat instruction, fire safety and education, first aid and CPR training along with many other services for the citizens of Jackson and the surrounding community.

Visit the site often as we continue to post new information and update our site giving you an inside view of what Jackson Fire Rescue is all about.
